Former Red Raider Tim Tadlock is coming back to Lubbock after being hired as the baseball teams new Associate Head Coach, and he carved out a little time on his media tour to visit with us on the Williams & Hyatt show.

The 42-year old Tadlock spent the previous six-years at Big 12 rival Oklahoma. He's regarded as one of the nations best recruiters, and has produced several of the nations top recruiting classes according to Collegiate Baseball Magazine and Baseball America.

During his tenure with the Sooners, Oklahoma made five trips to the NCAA Tournament with two Super Regional appearances, while making it back to the College World Series in Omaha in 2010.

Hyatt and Tadlock talked about what made him want to return back to West Texas, and then why it took so long. He touched on his success in Norman and what his goals and aspirations are for the Red Raiders.

Tadlock and Hyatt also reminisced about an old story Hyatt had from his play-by-play days that may surprise you.
