The Texas Rangers faced off against the Baltimore Orioles in game three of their midweek series.  They sent Josh Lindblom to the mound in place of starter Nick Tepesch who went on the disabled list with inflammation in his right elbow.

Lindblom would have a tough time though as he went 5.1 innings giving up six runs on nine hits which awarded him the loss.  Orioles starter Wei-Yin Chen did not have any problems with the Ranger lineup as he went seven strong innings and gave up just one run on three hits.  Manny Machado led the way for the Orioles offensively as he went 3-5 with an RBI.  Designated hitter Nolan Reimold also added a three-run homerun in the fourth that gave their starter Chen plenty of cushion as they won the game with a final score of 6-1.

Texas will try and regroup today as they play the final game of their series with the Orioles.  They will send Ross Wolf to the mound for only his second start of the season.  First pitch is set for 6:05 pm on FOX Sports SW from Orioles Park at Camden Yard.
