The Rangers will send Derek Holland (Pictured on the Right) to the mound to open the series.  Holland had this to say about the rest of the year, "I just have to start the second half strong.  It's been a good first half and I want to make the second half even better. I want to continue what I've been doing."  He will be opposite Wei-Yin Chen who has been very successful as of late.  In his last four starts he has gone 3-0 with a 1.88 ERA over that span.

Texas' offense will look to be more consistent in the second half of the season.  They were up and down for the most part of this year and they will need better if they want to be playing in October.  This series kicks off on Friday with first pitch set for 7:05 pm from the Ballpark in Arlington.
