The Texas Rangers Defeat the Baltimore Orioles Behind Adrian Beltre’s Two Homeruns
The Texas Rangers offense has been a bit of a mystery this year. Last night they showed just what they're capable of doing though as they erupted for eight runs in their win against the Baltimore Orioles.
Adrian Beltre led the way for Texas as he went 4-for-4 with two home runs, five RBIs, and extended his hitting streak to eleven games. Beltre wasn't the only Ranger to have a good night at the plate though as five different Texas players had multiple hits in the contest.
Ranger starter Martin Perez had a strong outing last night going six strong innings and giving up just two runs on six hits. Baltimore's starter Zach Britton also had a decent outing until he reached the fifth inning where the Rangers were able to score four runs and effectively end his night.
Texas will look to win their fourth game in a row as they play game three of their four game midweek series tonight. First pitch is set for 6:05 pm from Oriole Park at Camden Yards and can be seen on FOX Sports SW.
