No More Payless Shoes for Lubbock — The Retail Reaper Strikes Again

No, not really -- I don’t actually enjoy this. I just find out about it and tell you.

Last month, I told you that Payless ShoeSource would be filing for bankruptcy, and lo and behold, they have.

The Lubbock store is no more. They will be closing their location on Loop 289 and Quaker Ave. Texas lost a lot of stores, with Amarillo, Plainview and Wichita Falls being included in that list.

Use those gift cards and store credits quickly; they won’t be around for long.
