
The Red Raiders Face off Against Oklahoma State in the First Round of the Big 12 Tournament
The Texas Tech men's basketball team will look to extend their season tonight when they take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys (20-11, 8-10 in Big 12) in the first round of the Phillip 66 Big 12 tournament. The two teams split the regular season, as Texas Tech upended then #19 Oklahoma State, 65-61, in Lubbock and the Cowboys beat the Red Raiders, 84-62, in Stillwater. Tubby Smith and the Red Raiders (14-17, 6-12 in Big 12) enters Wednesday night's contest with a 8-7 all-time record in first round games, including capturing a 71-69 victory over West Virginia in last season's first round match up. Texas Tech is 1-1 in neutral site games this season, after splitting games in the Legends Classic in Brooklyn, N.Y. Tip off for this game is set for 6pm from Kansas City, Missouri and can be seen on ESPN 3.
