The Dallas Cowboys 2020 Schedule Sets McCarthy Up for Success
The Dallas Cowboys 2020 Schedule sets the 'Boys up for some success with the 30th most difficult schedule in the NFL according to winning percentages from last season. First-year head coach Mike McCarthy will have to test his team early with road games in Los Angeles against the Rams and at Seattle against the Seahawks in week three.
Kliff Kingsbury and the Arizona Cardinals will be heading to Jerry World in October before a bye week splits the season in almost half after the 9th game. The final five-game stretch will be pivotal for a playoff push and will involve playoff teams Baltimore and San Francisco along with divisional games against Philadelphia and New York.
If I was going to make some predictions I would say that a 4-2 record in the division is the floor. I think the Giants will be bad still and that the Cowboys can split with the Eagles and Redskins. Against non-divisional teams, I think the Cowboys can find wins against the Rams, Atlanta, Cleveland, Arizona, and Cincinnati. That would be 9-7, which I think would be Dallas' floor in 2020, with the ceiling at 12 wins.
Either way, with the 7th playoff team, added in 2020 I think the Cowboys can definitely make the playoffs, even without winning the NFC East.
