The Big 12 conference has announced the times for the Week 5 conference matchups and Oklahoma and Texas Tech find themselves in the prime time slot. That's right the game in Norman will kickoff at 11:00 a.m.

I'm sorry if you thought prime time meant night game, or something logical, I wasn't trying to click bait you I promise. The Big 12 has repeatedly said that the 11:00 a.m. kickoff is the best slot on FOX, and that's Big FOX and not FCS or FSSW+ or some alternate.

Texas Tech and Oklahoma will have Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt. The A-team.

K-State and Oklahoma State, a potentially ranked Big 12 matchup is scheduled to be on ESPN+.

The good news about playing a "prime time" away game is that you now have the entire afternoon and evening to fiddle about at your leisure as emphasized by my good friend Michael McDonald on Twitter, host of the 23 Personnel Podcast.

I'm not trying to tell you how to live your life but the 28th is not only the prime time matchup between Texas Tech and Oklahoma, it's also opening weekend for the 2019 edition of Nightmare on 19th Street. So, you can watch a horror show on TV at 11 a.m. and then go live one that night. It's perfect.
