In a game that Oklahoma State eventually won 70-53, Texas Tech started fast and furious, getting out to a 17-point lead mostly on the back of Jakeem Grant and Justin Stockton.

Stockton had a 42-yard touchdown catch, his first of the season, to open the game's scoring spree.

Jakeem Grant was responsible for one of the greatest individual efforts in a football game I have ever seen. Grant took a short reception more than 90 yards. He ran across the field and by all 11 defenders at some point all the way down to the 5-yard line. Justin Stockton scored his second touchdown of the quarter on the drive.

In addition to the highlight reel-worthy 90-yard reception, Grant had a 100-yard kickoff return where he looked like he was shot from a cannon.

The defense also played well in the first quarter. Maybe Texas Tech can duplicate a few of those quarters into one game and win one more game to be bowl eligible.
