Texas Tech Basketball Player Graduates 23 Years After Going Pro
Darvin Ham is best known for demolishing a backboard during a March Madness game against North Carolina while at Texas Tech.
After three years as a Red Raider, he left to go to the NBA, where he played for 8 seasons and went on to coaching.
Now, 23 years later, he has finished his degree in university studies from Texas Tech:
Ham will now head back to Milwaukee where he's the top assistant for the Bucks under head coach Mike Budenholzer.
He wasn't the only ex-Red Raider to graduate this weekend.
Former Baseball standout Jamodrick McGruder also got his degree. Football players Colt Garrett, Dominic Panazzolo and Quentin Yontz also walked on Saturday, along with current women's basketball player Brittany Brewer.
