Major League Baseball's Winter Meetings ended today in Nashville and Josh Hamilton remains a free agent. FOX Sports & MLB Network's Ken Rosenthal reported earlier this afternoon that the Seattle Mariners are having discussions with Hamilton.

The team has discussed three-year deals with Hamilton in the range of $20 million to $25 million per season, major-league sources say.

The Texas Rangers remain more focused on free-agent right-hander Zack Greinke, sources say, creating a possible opening for the Mariners.

Meanwhile, the Rangers added bullpen depth today by selecting Coty Woods from the Colorado Rockies in the Rule 5 Draft. Woods pitched in both AA and AAA for the Rockies last season. The right-handed pitcher tops out in the low 90s on his fastball and also throws a sinker and slider.

Woods must stay on the Rangers 25-man roster the entire 2013 season or be offered back to the Rockies.
