Terry Price Allegedly Leaving Texas Tech For Texas A&M

According to coachingsearch.com Texas Tech defensive line coach Terry Price is leaving for the same position at Texas A&M. This is Tech's second assistant coach to leave in as many weeks after offensive line coach Jim Turner left for the NFL.

Price, a 1992 graduate of Texas A&M, came to Texas Tech after spending the last three years as defensive line coach at Ole Miss. It makes sense that he left Tech for his Alma mater, but it is still very discouraging, seeing as price was only recently hired by Texas Tech.

Coaching Search also reports that Texas Tech may be going after former Ole Miss defensive coordinator Tyrone Nix or former Tulane defensive line coordinator John Hendrick. Tech needs to make a good hire at the defensive line position as it was one of the weakest points on the Tech defense last season.
