Steele, Mahomes and Brooks Win Close Ones in Week Two
Week two of the NFL season brought more success and failures for the Red Raiders in the NFL with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs beating Anthony Lynn's Chargers in overtime to spoil the Chargers debut in their brand new stadium. Jordyn Brooks Seahawks won a nail biter against Cody Davis' Patriots. Broderick Washington and the Ravens beat Keke Coutee and the Houston Texans. Hardly any Red Raider won without another losing. Except for Terence Steele and the Cowboys who won a wild one against the Atlanta Falcons.
The highlight of the week is brought to you by Mahomes Magic, no surprise. Down eight points in the 4th quarter, Mahomes rolled right and flicked a 50-yard bomb to a streaking Tyreek Smith. It's common at this point but there are very few humans on earth who can make this throw.
Overall, Red Raider represented teams went a total of 8-5 over the weekend. They went 9-5 if you count the Browns who are led by former Red Raider Baker Mayfield.
