For many people this New Year's Eve will be a much toned down evening compared to previous years. Instead of going out, many will choose to stay home and enjoy the comforts of home with family.

That means you will be snacking and eating at home and that should mean you need a Charcuterie Board. What is that? Well, it's basically a cheese and meat board. You get to choose different meats to sample along with cheese and more. Garcia suggested adding fruits and even nuts. Garcia said its easy to build your own or pick one up at your favorite Market Street location.

Last week Brenda Garcia joined me to discuss how you can use leftovers like ham, turkey, or chicken in your soup for something a little different. Garcia also promoted the new soup ready meals where all you have to do is put the bag into a crockpot and let it cook. It's that easy! I can't wait to try them. Soups are also a great way to sneak in vegetables for those who may not prefer them.
