REPORT: The Cheesecake Factory Is Coming to Lubbock
Tuesday afternoon, local website Lubbock In The Loop reported news that will be music to dessert lovers' ears: The Cheesecake Factory is coming to Lubbock.
According to the website, The Cheesecake Factory would take up space in the east parking lot of the South Plains Mall by building a freestanding building in front of Barnes & Noble.
The Cheesecake Factory's closest locations to Lubbock are currently in The Metroplex, Oklahoma City and Albuquerque. Locations for The Cheesecake Factory are usually located in mall complexes; sometimes, freestanding and sometimes within the mall itself.
In addition to varieties of cheesecake, deserts and salads, The Cheesecake Factory also serves steaks, burgers and other entrees.
Projected groundbreaking is scheduled for August 2018.
