Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network is reporting that the Detroit Lions will not put the franchise tag on wide receiver Kenny Golladay (pictured), thus making Golladay an unrestricted free agent.

Golladay has battled injuries during his four-year Lions career.  Injuries cut short his 2020 season from 16 games to five contests.  He had 20 receptions for 338 yards and two TD's in 2020.

With Golladay not being tagged, the only returning wide receivers on the current roster are: second-year man Quintez Cephus, recent free-agent acquisition Tyrell Williams, Geronimo Allison (who opted out in 2020), Victor Bolden, and Tom Kennedy.
