Texas Tech Lineman Lonnie Edwards One of 7 Big 12 Players Named to Outland Trophy Preseason Watch List
Texas Tech's left guard, Lonnie Edwards, has been named to the Outland preseason watch list. The Outland is awarded to the best lineman in the country.
Edwards, a senior from Brownboro, Texas, is 6-foot-4 and weighs 322 pounds. Edwards was a second-team all-Big 12 honoree last year. Edwards has started in 32 games for the Red Raiders and will be the starting left guard.

The other Big 12 members include:
Levy Adcock, OT, Oklahoma State
Ban Habern, C, Oklahoma
Dan Hoch, OT, Missouri
