Propane Tank Explosion Causes Fire Near Slaton Highway

A propane tank exploded Friday afternoon (Feb. 9) near Slaton Highway.

KAMC News reports the fire is burning near the intersection of US 84 and CR 7260. Fire departments from Roosevelt, Buffalo Springs, Slaton and Woodrow responded to the scene.

As of 5 p.m. Friday, firefighters had at least 80 percent of the fire contained. No injuries have been reported.
