Patrick Mahomes Returns to Practice After Dislocated Knee Scare
The Chiefs training staff got to the knee quickly and popped it back into place right there on the field, which helped the long-term health and recovery of the knee.
After a Friday MRI, media covering the Chiefs speculated that he could miss three games, but the overall results were very positive, with no lasting damage or torn ligaments.
Now, less than a week later, Patrick Mahomes is back at practice.
Surely this is gamesmanship and Mahomes will take time to get fully healthy, but if Head Coach Andy Reid believes his only shot to be in the Super Bowl is home-field advantage, there aren't any more losses the Chiefs can afford to take.
It's a difficult decision for sure.
