The resounding statement that came from Mark Cuban in regards to Lamar Odom's departure from the Dallas Mavericks is that, "He wasn't committed."

In his first statement since Odom's departure, Cuban told the Associated Press, "I just asked him, does he want to go for it or not. Is he in or is he out? I think he thought we were playing poker. I just didn't get a commitment. And that was the end,'' This was a big game for us, and he wasn't connecting to that. And if you're not positive energy, you're negative energy.''

Cuban knew that Odom was done Saturday, after he played just four minutes against Memphis that Cuban called, "uninspired." Cuban questioning Odom's commitment to the Mavericks quickly turned into an angry exchange. It also came out that Cuban has been frustrated with Odom's effort all season.
