Congratulations to Lubbock Refuge Services, who received this year's Helping Hand Award for their dedicated 20 years of equine therapy services here in Lubbock.

They are the deserving recipient of a brand new building from Mueller Inc., who gathered a great team of volunteers to raise the building in just three days. Thursday's ribbon cutting and dedication was a celebrated 'thank you.'

Everyone in attendance enjoyed the wonderful ceremony. It included heartfelt speeches, a parade, balloon release, a tour of the impressive new building and lunch.
