Lubbock McDonald’s Temporarily Closes for Renovations

A local McDonald's will close its doors for renovations.

The McDonald's restaurant, located at 1910 50th Street, will close its doors after this weekend to begin construction. The renovations are expected to take four months.

A special guest will be at the fast food restaurant Saturday before closing. Grimace will be at the store for pictures from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and children can receive a free balloon.
