Matt Harrison led the Texas Rangers to a 5-0 victory over the Chicago White Sox by pitching six scoreless innings. Harrison survived the only his only jam of the game, which came in the sixth inning, when he struck out A.J Piezrynski, stranding two runners on base. Hamilton stole the show however when he blasted a 441ft homerun to right-center field. The home run made it all the way to the second deck of the ball park. Adrian Beltre and David Murphy also homered for the Rangers. With the win the Rangers improve to 2-1 on the season.
