Ashley Wirz,

Texas Tech interim head coach Chris Walker talked about OSU's great start, "Our game plan was to slow them up a little bit, start with some zone but they came out and were fearless and we had no sense of urgency and they did a great job of attacking us and keeping us on our heels the whole game. Obviously when it’s tough for us to score the way it is we get behind and a small margin of error becomes a cazum very quickly, and we just have to continue to work."

Dejan Kravic scored 7 points and pulled down 8 rebounds in the loss. Dusty Hannas led the Red Raiders with 14 points. Hannas made 3/5 3-point shots.

OSU shot very well during the first half, shooting 62% from the field, along with 10/15 for 3-pointers. For the game, the OSU went 56% from the field and 60% from beyond the arc.

Texas Tech committed 14 turnovers in the game and shot 37% from the field.

Walker also said his team needs to remain tough for the rest of their Big 12 games, "We are at a point where we need to continue to be as competitive as much as possible, going on the road is tougher for us but I really felt that playing at home we’re a little bit more competitive,  but we need to play hard every single game and I thought we could have played a little bit harder and we will continue to work on that.”

Texas Tech's next game is Saturday at West Virginia.
