Lubbock’s Pier 1 Import’s Has An Uncertain Future

Sad news from Pier 1 Imports, they have just announced they will be closing almost 450 stores due to a sales slump, according to national news sources, and it appears the future of the Lubbock store is uncertain.

The Lubbock store was unable to comment on our inquiry at this time. We take this to mean the future of our Lubbock store is in fact un-announced.

We've sent an inquiry up to their media relations person as instructed, so now we can only 'wait and see', regarding some definitive word.

We certainly hope we get to keep our Lubbock Pier 1 Imports store! We will keep you posted on any news.
