Lubbock’s Mugshot Monday: 50 People Arrested by Police, Some With Various Serious Charges
We are almost done with January and are heading straight into February but there are some things you might have missed in local news. The first hurdle is that snow storm that is expected across Lubbock, I live out in the middle of nowhere with 'Courage the Cowardly Dog' and when it snows I lose the road. It's not because I drive like a granny but because its vast amounts of white untouched fields that I get confused, maybe some color could help.
It would help driver's if we added some color to the roads the way we added color to our wardrobes and figured out which colors suit us best. Better yet instead of colors why not flavors, imagine driving and getting lost and you just happen to taste the snow and it tastes like rocky road ice cream. Well that sounds gross actually, but you can probably find out your Blue Bell ice cream star sign instead, it's a lot tastier than rocky road on the snowy road.
After the snow clears up then it's a straight dive into February, the month of love. There are tons of holidays celebrated like Valentines day, Lupercalia, and Candlemas, and of course it's Black History month. But why not take out that special someone to a Valentines murder mystery followed by some amazing drinks that just scream Lubbock. Just remember not to do anything that will get you a stay at the Lubbock County Detention Center during those special days.
These 50 mugshots are of people who were arrested during the week of January 16 through January 22, 2023 and held in the Lubbock County Detention Center. Everyone featured is innocent until proven guilty and have only been charged with at least one felony, be it State Jail Felony, Third Degree Felony, Second Degree Felony, First Degree Felony, a Capital Felony or were arrested and held on a Fugitive Warrant or Detainer, a United States Marshall Remand, or Immigration Customs Enforcement Detainer.
