Lubbock Police Search for Suspect Who Shot a Man in the Arm

Someone was taken to a local hospital with a gunshot wound Thursday morning.

KAMC News reports that the incident began when two men inside a car were driving at 34^th Street and Avenue Q on Thursday when another vehicle hit them.

The two men turned on to Avenue Q from 34^th in an attempt to exchange information with the suspect who hit them.

But that’s when the suspect raised a pistol and shot one of the men in the arm and drove off. The victim, believed to have been the passenger, was driven to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Now, police are looking for the shooter, who may be driving a Ford Focus or a Nissan Maxima.
