The #7 Jayton Jaybirds are moving on to their first state championship in school history after their win over the #2 Nazareth Swifts 38-37. All thanks to Tye Scogin and this incredible, off-balance shot in the lane as time expired to win the game.

This is way too special of a shot not to have another angle of it.

That shot from Scogin was his only basket he made from the field as he finished 1-5 from the floor, however, he was a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line against Nazareth.

The Jaybirds are now 26-5 on the year and will be playing in the state tournament for the first time in school history. Jayton now sets their site on possibly winning the state championship as they take on #6 Slidell at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 9th.
