38-year-old Joshua Gilder of Lubbock has been found guilty of aggravated robbery following the robbery of the Highway 87 Game Room back in 2017.

KAMC News reports that the robbery happened in August.

2 men entered the game room and robbed it at gunpoint. Apparently, the 2 men showed badges upon entering and claimed to be police officers before robbing the business.

The victim had a gun waved in her face, and it was even captured on video. The 2 men took more than $2,000 cash and other items.

A former employee of the game room, Javier Rodrigues, later confessed to having prior knowledge of the robbery. He also admitted to being the one who let the 2 men in.

The man who was said to have been wielding the firearm, Christopher Payne, has pleaded guilty. Gilder was allegedly directing Payne and instructed the victim on what to do during the robbery.

The defense argued that Gilder wasn't the one pointing a gun, so he should only be charged with theft and not aggravated robbery. Prosecutors, however, held firm on the aggravated robbery charge. The jury didn't even deliberate for an hour before coming back with a guilty verdict for Gilder.
