The #9 Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaps beat Rogers State 87-70 at the Rip Griffin Center Thursday evening to stay undefeated in Sooner Athletic Conference play.  The 17-point win also extends the Lady Chaps winning streak to 11.

Emily Atkins led LCU in scoring with 25 points in 30 minutes on the floor.  10 of her points came from the charity stripe as she went 10/11 on free throws.  Kelsey Canavan fought for loose balls all-night long as she pulled down 15 rebounds and scored 16 points.  The other LCU starters scoring in double-digits were Nicole Hampton with 16 points and Brittany Roberts with 15 points.

The Lady Chaps dominance with their inside play was evident with 36 points being scored in the paint.

LCU led the game 45-33 at the half and coasted to the 17 point win in the second half.
