Both Lubbock Christian University Men’s and Women’s Basketball won their conference home games Thursday night.

The 4th ranked Lubbock Christian Lady Chaps defeated St. Gregory’s 84-61 at the Rip Griffin Center. Kelsey Hoppel led the Lady Chaps with 22 points off the bench in just 22 minutes of action.

The Lady Chaps improve to 22-2 overall and 9-2 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

The next take the court Saturday at 1 p.m. hosting Oklahoma Baptist.

The LCU men completed the sweep of St. Gregory’s winning 74-62 Thursday night.

LCU forward Eli Baker had a monster game with 20 points and 21 rebounds in the win.

LCU improves to 12-11 on the season and 5-6 in the SAC.

LCU hosts Oklahoma Baptist Saturday at 3 p.m.
