The Texas Tech women's basketball teamreturns home to play Iowa State Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the United Supermarkets Arena.

This is the first meeting this season between the two schools. Iowa State has won the last four meetings and 10 of the last 12 overall. The Cyclones lead the overall series, 14-10, but the Lady Raiders lead the series in Lubbock, 7-4.

Tech (13-10, 3-8 Big 12) completed a two road games this past week with losses to Kansas (71-67) and TCU (71-60). The Lady Raiders are 12-3 at home overall and 2-3 in Big 12 play.

Amber Battle returned to form on Sunday with 20 points on 9 of 17 shooting from the field (52.9 percent), along with a team-high eight rebounds.

Texas Tech's Minta Spears scored a Big 12 season-high 13 points, now leading the team with 32 threes this season.

Battle now has 924 career points and looks to become the 31st Lady Raider to score 1,000 points. She would be the first since Casey Morris (1,056) and Chynna Brown (1,096) did it in 2013.

Texas Tech redshirt sophomore Ivonne CookTaylor scored a career-high 23 points on 9 of 14 shooting Feb. 4 in her first start of the season. It topped her previous high of 18 against TCU on March 7, 2014, which was also her last start

Iowa State (15-7, 6-5) snapped a three-game losing streak of its own on Saturday with a 61-43 win over West Virginia. Senior point guar Nikki Moody leads the Cyclones with 17.6 points and 8.1 assists over the last seven games. She earned the Big 12 Conference's Player of the Week honor on Monday.
