Today's Texas Tech Football report is written by Rob Brennan

Kliff Kingsbury, the fifteenth head coach in Red Raider football history was officially introduced on Friday at the United Spirit Arena in front a loud crowd of fans.

The former Red Raider quarterback hopes to bring a lot of excitement back to the Texas Tech football program for a fan base that seemed ready to move on from the Tommy Tuberville era.  Kingsbury is continuing to put together a coaching staff that will involve some former Red Raiders and has already started recruiting for the 2013 season.  Kingsbury will not coach or have that much input (if any at all) with the Red Raiders upcoming bowl game against Minnesota.  Texas Tech Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt says Kingsbury will take full control the team the day after this season's bowl game.
