Kansas State Play-by-Play Announcer Wyatt Thompson Previewing Match-Up Against Texas Tech [AUDIO]

Kansas State play-by-play announcer Wyatt Thompson joined Steve Dale on Sportsline Tuesday morning to discuss the weekend’s upcoming contest in Manhattan between the No. 4 Wildcats and No. 15 Red Raiders.

Thompson serves as the anchor of the Kansas State Sports Network and is entering his 11^th season behind the microphone as the “Voice of the Wildcats.”

Dale and Thompson start out the conversation by talking about, what else, the excellent play of the quarterbacks for both teams. Texas Tech’s Seth Doege and Kansas State’s Collin Klein are both coming off seven touchdown performances, Doege with all seven through the air, while Klein had four on the ground and three of the air variety.

“I’m really excited about this game,” Thompson said. “These two teams put on a heck of a show last year in Lubbock, and both are better this year, so I’m looking forward to a really really good ball game.”
