We wrote about John Stephen Jones almost two months ago as he was moving his way through the Texas High School Playoffs on his way to a second straight State Championship. The first article was about Kliff Kingsbury offering the undersized quarterback a scholarship, and who his grandfather and father are.

Jones is still 5'10" and his family still owns the Dallas Cowboys, but the most important thing is that Jones has taken his official visit to Lubbock and has placed Texas Tech into his top three choices, according to Greg Riddle of the Dallas Morning News.

Obviously, there's some history with The Jones Family at Arkansas, and with a new coaching staff and the SEC pedigree Jones couldn't go wrong with Arkansas. But Texas Tech still has a shot at this spectacular competitor. I think Kliff Kingsbury really covets a guy like Jones.

If you missed the State Championship game that Jones played in, you need to take some time to watch the highlights below. It's a microcosm of what Jones is as a player, leader and, most importantly, as a winner.

This incredible comeback is just another example that shows John Stephen Jones just knows how to win games.

This might be a negative for some of the haters out there, but John Stephen Jones will draw a lot of comparisons to Tony Romo. The pocket mobility and the attitude, as well as the number, all add up to a similar style as one of the greatest to ever strap it up for the Dallas Cowboys.

Jones will likely announce his decision on Signing Day, Wednesday, February 7th.
