The Houston Rockets have been on fire as of late, taking down the Detroit Pistons 97-80. Kyle Lowry had 13 points, five rebounds and five assists for the Rockets, Luis Scola added 14 points and Samuel Dalembert had 14 points and 12 rebounds.

The Pistons offense helped make the Rockets defense look good as they missed 6 of their first 7 shots allowing the Rockets to build an early lead. The Rockets also out rebounded the Pistons 42-35, but needed the rebound advantage to offset their 21 turnovers. The Rockets improved to 5-1 at home, and 4-1 against Eastern Conference teams this season. The Pistons are 0-9 this season when they get out rebounded.

If the Rockets continue the run against Eastern Conference teams, they should have no problem making the playoffs.
