The Houston Astros lost a close one on Thursday as they fell to the Toronto Blue Jays by a final score of 6-5.  Houston was coming off a series win over the division leading Oakland Athletics earlier this week.  "These guys have been faced with a lot of adversity, but at the same time, when the game starts, you strap it up and you battle with the people in the battle with you," manager Bo Porter said.  "There's nothing you can do with anybody who's not here.  That's my mind-set, and I think our guys have the same mind-set."  Reliever Chad Qualls took the loss in relief as he gave up one run on one hit in Thursday's game.    Houston will continue their series against the Blue Jays today with first pitch for that game set for 7:10pm and the pregame starting at 6:45pm.  You can hear all the action right here on Sports Radio 1340 the FAN.
