David Murphy had a monster of a game, belting two homers and a career high five RBIs in the Texas Rangers 13-9 victory over the Detroit Tigers. Ian Kinsler also chipped in, swatting a two run homer for the Rangers.

The real story of the game came from Roy Oswalt, getting his second win in as many starts, something former Rangers starting pitcher Scott Feldman has yet to do. Oswalt has been a breath of fresh air from the 1-6 Feldman, now relegated to the bullpen. Granted Oswalt gave up a career high 13 hits , he still managed to get himself out of the bad situations he found himself in to get the win. It helps that the Rangers offense knocked in 13 runs in support of the effort.

Josh Hamilton continues to be in a slump, batting under .200 for the month of June, but still maintaining an .312 on the season. Murphy did his best Josh Hamilton impression, going 4-5 with 5 RBIs. Adrian Beltre also chipped in three hits and an RBI in support of Oswalt.
