New Orleans' captain, Chris Paul, had a career night Sunday in a 93-88 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 4 of their NBA Playoff series. Paul claimed his second career postseason triple double with 27 points, 15 assists and 13 rebounds. Paul's efforts helped the Hornets tied the best of seven series at two games apiece.

The four time all-star also had a career night after the game too, saying one of the most memorable quotes from the entire NBA season.

TNT analyst Cheryl Miller stopped Paul briefly after the game for a quick interview and made mention of psychical the game was with Lakers' star Kobe Bryant.

"He would do me the same way. It's all in fun, but it's our livelihood,"said Paul. "I don't care if my mother was on the court. I'd hit her, too."

See and hear the quote in the video below. What do you think of the statement? It quite possibly could be the quote of the year.
