Bubba Watson Wins 2012 Masters in Two Hole Playoff [VIDEO]

Florida native Bubba Watson claimed his first Masters title, and first major, with a second hole sudden-death playoff victory against South African Louis Oosthuizen at Augusta National today.

Oosthuizen was already a part of history after the second hole of today's Final Round.  Oosthuizen nailed the extremely rare double eagle on his second shot of the par-5 second hole. Oosthuizen hit a 4-iron from the fairway, 253 yards away from the hole.  The ball hit on the front of the green and rolled downhill 90 feet to the hole. It was only the fourth double eagle in Masters history.

Both Watson and Oosthuizen finished regulation at (-10). The first playoff hole was the 18th and both players made par.  The second playoff hole was the 10th.  Watson then hit a memorable shot that set himself up for the win. Watson was deep in the trees to the right of the fairway. In fact, he couldn't even see the green (pictured).  Watson then hooked a wedge off the pine needles from 155 yards to about 10 feet from the hole. The shot set up Watson for the tournament winning par.
