Brock Edges Out Idalou in Class 2A Semi-Final

The Brock Eagles edged out the Idalou Wildcats 56-51 in the Class 2A Semi-Final at the Frank Erwin Center at the University of Texas.

It was a tough go for the Wildcats in the first quarter as they were down 11-4 after the first eight minutes.

Idalou then turned it on offensively in the second quarter to make the game more competitive. Idalou scored 21 second quarter points and took a 25-19 lead into halftime.

Brock worked to cut down the margin to 2 points after three quarters, 37-35.

Once the fourth quarter got underway, Brock reasserted themselves offensively en route to the win.  After tying the game at 39, six consecutive points gave them enough of a cushion to pull away from Idalou.
