Blue Bell’s New Strawberry Lemonade Ice Cream Is a Joyful Summer Treat
I don't know how the people at Blue Bell keep topping themselves.
Somewhere under their factory in Brenham, Texas there must be a secret lab where scientists work feverishly around the clock to not only explore new flavors but bring some of your favorite flavors to you in the form of ice cream. At least that's how I think it works.
After the resounding success of the taste adventure that was Chocolate Peanut Butter Overload, Blue Bell has dropped a flavor that really has that taste of summer feel. That flavor is Strawberry Lemonade. And...wow.
Strawberry Lemonade is strawberry ice cream swirled with lemon sherbert and lemon flakes. Holy cow, if this one doesn't hit you somewhere right in the childhood. This combo truly is even better than the sum of its parts. Let's be honest: Blue Bell's strawberry ice cream is already bangin' to begin with.
The fact that it's ice cream mixed with sherbert helps up the game, too. Those two mixed together gives the flavor a much lighter and refreshing feeling. I have to be honest, the thought of mixing up a soda or adult cocktail with a scoop of this crossed my mind as well.
The new flavor hits stores today. It's another limited edition deal, which means if you love it the way we did, you may want to stock up now. I mean, seriously, with gas prices the way they are and temperatures close to or over 100 degrees, maybe the best plan is to just cool off with some Blue Bell this weekend.
Blue Bell's Strawberry Lemonade should be available in stores as you read this.
