Bill Haas Named to U.S. Presidents Cup Team
Bill Haas has been selected play for the U.S. team at the Presidents Cup.
Fred Couples said more than a month ago he would use one of his captain’s picks on Tiger Woods. Tuesday he added Haas, who won the Tour Championship on Sunday to capture the FedEx Cup.
International captain Greg Norman selected two Australians in Robert Allenby and Aaron Baddeley. Braddeley tied for third at the Tour Championship, and Norman referred to Allenby as an “automatic pick” because of his record in Australia.
The Presidents Cup will be played November 17th through the 20th at Royal Melbourne.
