Argument Leads to Shooting, Lands One in the Hospital and Another in Jail

A shooting over the weekend in South Lubbock landed one in the hospital and another in jail.
The Lubbock County Sheriff's Office responded for reports of shots fired on Saturday, October 9th just after 10 p.m. in the 1300 block of 94th Street.
Upon arrival, 28 year-old Michael Quilantan was found with a gunshot wound and quickly taken to University Medical Center by EMS. Quilantan was said to be in stable condition but still suffering serious injuries.
The suspect, 45 year-old David Jester, was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
An investigation revealed an argument between family members is what led to the shooting.
