Three people were arrested in Lubbock during the last week of April which resulted in a drug bust. A search warrant was issued and resulted in a multi-agency operation that included the Lubbock Police Department, Lubbock County Sheriff's Office, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the Texas Department of Public Safety.

KAMC news reports that a home in the 400 block of 36th Street, on April 27, is where law enforcement agents, from different agencies, were set to begin a search. Before law enforcement could conduct that search they discovered 28-year-old Rosario Vale sitting in a car just outside of the home before her arrest.

Police then tried to get 22-year-old Roman Sandoval and 35-year-old Edgar Sandoval to come out from the home but both men refused to listen to law enforcement. The SWAT team had to be called in to get into the home and both men were discovered completely wet from trying to flush meth down a toilet. Agents were able to arrest the men and search the home where they were able to find over 300 grams of meth, more than 960 grams of liquid meth, a multitude of cellphones, a stolen handgun and over $10,000 in cash.

Investigators did state that it was clear all three were operating a drug trafficking operation from the home and were originally from Sinaloa, Mexico. It is unclear if those three had any connection to the drug cartels from that area in Mexico. As per the publishing of this article all three arrested in this multi-agency drug bust are still being held in the Lubbock County Detention Center on multiple charges. Vale does have a bond of $525,000 and both Sandoval's have bonds totaling $600,000 each but all are currently being held in custody due to Federal Warrants and Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) Detainers.
