A Suspect Ran Away During Traffic Stop and Still Hasn’t Been Located

The Lubbock County Sheriff's Office is still searching for a suspect that ran off during a traffic stop on Monday, June 6th.
KAMC News reports that a Ford passenger car was stopped after it was observed speeding and driving recklessly. This was at around 2:45 p.m. in the 5400 block of Interstate 27.
LCSO said that the passenger, a black male standing around 6'1" wearing a white shirt and black, shorts got out of the vehicle upon stopping and ran towards the Cricket Court Apartments. Deputies searched the complex but were unable to locate the man.
No further details were given, such as the status of the Ford's driver. An investigation is ongoing.
