An argument at a Lubbock bar results in one person being discovered with injuries at a motel. The Lubbock Police Department was dispatched to the 5200 block of Avenue Q South Drive at 2am Tuesday, November 1. The initial call that was received  was due to a report of shots fired at the Hub City Inn, a motel in that area.

KAMC news reported that witnesses in a bar told the police investigating the call stated that two people got into a verbal argument before one of them left and the other chased after them. A woman, who happened to be the victim, was found by her boyfriend and his cousin in a motel room belonging to the victims ex-boyfriend. The victim was discovered hunched over and bleeding in the room. The victim's ex-boyfriend was not at the scene when police arrived and is said to have been too afraid to speak to police following the argument.

As per the publishing of this article there have been no arrests made in this case. It is unclear if the victim was transported to an area hospital and their current condition is unknown at this time. The investigation into this shooting is ongoing.
