Texas Tech has announced another electric concert for the Raider Alley Concert Series for the Homecoming weekend celebration against West Virginia.

The first act brought to Raider Alley last year in the renewed push to make the pregame an absolute party was DJ Diesel aka Shaquille O'Neal. He won't be returning, but the DJ booth will return as Texas Tech and the Gorilla Law Firm have tabbed NGHTMRE to rock the stage.

NGHTMRE will go on the stage at 12 pm and kickoff is scheduled for 2 pm.

Now, I'll be completely honest and tell you I had not heard of NGHTMRE before the announcement but it seems like I've been missing out with scenes like these below.

Absolute bliss? Sign me up.

I know the show won't be in the dark, but the lasers will still play and will be truly epic with a little fog or smoke in the air.

This show should be awesome.

The game should also be great with an afternoon kick-off after three weeks away from home. The last time Texas Tech was in Lubbock they beat the Texas Longhorns and rushed the field. The time before that? They beat the Houston Cougars and rushed the field.

I don't think the students will rush the field against West Virginia but I do predict a win for the good guys to stay undefeated at home with Baylor coming to town next weekend for a night game and a 6:30 pm kickoff.

Could a blackout announcement be coming?
