Lubbock's Pie Five Pizza in the West End Center has surprised us and reopened after a five-month hiatus.

Pie Five back is back open after closing unexpectedly, and without a clear reason, last December. We've called to speak with them to learn more, but no further details were provided. They did confirm, however, that they'e now under new management.

All we know is that they are glad to be back, and things are much better now according to one employee's comment.

Pie Five Pizza locations in other market locations had closed amidst lawsuits regarding the franchise's profitability in 2017, but there's nothing we've found that connects the temporary Lubbock closure to a lawsuit. Additionally, there was no issue with the city at the time they closed in December according to KLBK News.
