Adrian Beltre won a Golden Glove Award for the second year in a row and the first Rangers back to back winner since First Baseman Mark Teixeira.

Beltre had the second best showing of his career this year in the American league with a .974 fielding percentage at third base, having only eight errors in 312 chances.  That is the lowest number of errors by an American League third baseman with at least 125 starts since 2006.

Beltre was the only Texas Ranger on the Gold Glove list.  He has won this award four times in the past six years, including back to back Gold Gloves with Seattle in 2007 and 2008.
